Ann Marie Gillespie, Age 50, of Bear Lake, died unexpectedly Saturday, May 19, 2018 at her home.
She was born on Feb. 9, 1968 in Pontiac, the daughter of William Raymond & Cindy Ann (Jacobs) Johnson. She was a graduate of Mayville High School Class of 1986.
Ann was a supervisor in the Players Club at the Little River Casino in Manistee, where she had been employed for 19 years. She loved to read, enjoyed scrapbooking, and camping and canoeing with family.
She is survived by three sons, Scott (Kincie) Gillespie, serving in the US Army at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Anthony D. Gillespie and David L. (Ashley Kemp) Gillespie, both of Battle Creek; her grandchildren; Jack, Ethan, Vincent, Aiden, and one due in November; her parents, William R. and Cindy A. Johnson, of LeRoy; and one brother, William R. Johnson, Jr. of Muskegon.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 12 p.m. at the Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Manistee. The family will receive friends at the funeral on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. and again Tuesday morning from 11 a.m. until time of service.
