Anthony J. Braden

Events

Anthony James Braden, age 10, of Williamsburg, went to be in the loving arms of our precious Lord on May 29, 2019 in Grand Rapids.
Anthony, born Jan. 30, 2009, will be most remembered for his infectious smile, funny personality and courageous strength. He fought every obstacle with a big smile ad a joyous heart.
He enjoyed attending school at Traverse Heights ISD in Traverse City, where he made many friends that he enjoyed seeing every day. He also loved his teachers, aides, therapists and bus rivers and had a special bond with each and every one of them.
Anthony was happiest when listening to his father or grandfather play the guitar to him, although he loved music anytime and anywhere. He also loved his green stuffed dog named Scout, his real dog named Gypsy, swimming and pounding his pie-pan drums. He enjoyed spending time in the kitchen, either baking with his mother or cooking with grandpa, and being rocked to sleep by his grandmother. Being around family, especially his many cousins, brought him such joy and happiness.
Anthony is survived by his mother and father, Whitney and Joshua Milam; his maternal grandparents, Jack and Tina Braden; his paternal grandparents, Rhonda and Mel Spencer; his biological father and spouse, Tony and Mandy Cline; his biological paternal grandparents, Patrick and Beth Cline; stepsister, Camille Cline; stepbrother, Carter Cline; as well as aunts and uncles, Katie and Brian Michels, Shawn Braden, Ray Brown and Michele Jenkins, Cecilia Cline and Cole Elliott, James Farris, Justin Milam and Carrie Milam, Ken and Stephanie Parker, Mandy and Dan McKillop. He is also survived by cousins, Riley, Jackson, George, Brenden, Luke, Beckett, Callie, Cody, Christopher, Morgan, Danny, Emma, Keagan and Joshua; and an amazing set of godparents, Kayla and Kyle Hershberger.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Anthony's honor to the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation or the Gift of Life.
The family is being cared for by the Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
