Bradley's Story

Bradley Nickerson, age 49, of Kingsley, died Thursday, Sept. 7, surrounded by his family.
Bradley, son of Donaldine and Max Nickerson, was an industrial pipe fitter and an avid lover of the outdoors. He was a devoted father and grandfather and most enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren on the Manistee River.
Bradley loved fishing and hunting as well as photographing wild animals and nature.
Bradley is survived by his children, Holly (Josh Hagan) Nickerson, Sean (Brooke Gwizdala) Nickerson; grandsons, Alexander and Asher Nickerson and Cooper Hagan; siblings, Patricia (Al Saxton) Nickerson, Max Nickerson Jr., Jan Nickerson, Steve (Carol) Nickerson, Pamela (Jeff Broderick) Nickerson, Greg Nickerson; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Max Roland Nickerson and Donaldine Mary Nickerson.
Funeral services will be held at the Kingsley United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 14, with Pastor Colleen Wierman presiding. A luncheon will follow in the fellowship hall.
Bradley was known by all to have a big heart and frequently donated to the church and those in need. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kingsley United Methodist Church.
