Brenda "Jill" (Olson) Ile passed away peacefully surrounded by family at her home in Williamsburg on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017 at the age of 65.
Jill was predeceased by her father, Duane Olson; and husbands, Charles Ray and Gary Ile.
Jill is survived and lovingly remembered by her mother, Frances Olson; stepfather, Chuck Roberts; two loving sons, Wade (Kathy Baker) and Jason Ray, of Williamsburg; sister, Beverly (Jack) Mckee, of Lynnville, Tennessee; brother, Fred Olson (Sally Loudermilk), of Williamsburg; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; many nieces, nephews, special friends and extended family members; and her beloved dog, Stella.
Jill was born in Traverse City on Sept. 12, 1952.
She graduated from Elk Rapids High School in 1970 and worked as a waitress at various local restaurants in the area most of her adult life.
A celebration of life "party" (requested by Jill) will be held at the Williamsburg Methodist Church (enter lower level side entrance) on Saturday, Oct. 28, at 1 p.m. Cremation has taken place with Cremation and Burial Society in Traverse City. Burial will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family for the funeral fund.
A Facebook page titled "Jill Olson-Ile CELEBRATION of LIFE" will be created, where condolences, pictures and memories may be offered to the family online.
