Daniel O. Case II

December 02, 2018

Daniel O. Case II Daniel Owen Case II, 39, of Maple City, unexpectedly went to be with his creator and son, Anthony, on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018. Daniel was born on Oct. 19, 1979 to Daniel Owen Case and Cathryn (Egeler) Davidson in St. Joseph.
Almost 14 years ago he met the love of his life, Kristyn Case, and they were inseparable ever since. They together shared a lifetime of blessings and held each other close during their hardships. Together they raised three wonderful children, Anthony, Hunter and Lilly Ann.
He loved being in nature any chance he could and had a strong passion for hunting and fishing.
Daniel worked at Molon Excavating for over 13 years and had earned the respect for all who worked alongside him. Daniel was always a hard, dedicated worker to provide for his family and friends. He was a mentor to many, and his perfectionistic ways were what we all relied on and appreciated.
He had a heart of gold and his compassion for others showed daily. His faith in God and endless love for his family and friends will always be treasured and never forgotten.
Daniel's one of a kind "joker smile" will be cherished forever.
He was one of the most compassionate and caring men in the world. Right behind his respect and love for his faith was that for his family and friends. He would do anything for anyone without hesitation.
Daniel is survived and missed dearly by his wife, Kristyn Michele; his children, Hunter Owen and Lilly Ann Case; his parents, Cathryn (Jeff) Davidson, Dan Case and David Irwin; and his siblings, Dawn (Jesse) Schopieray and David (Alyssa) Irwin. Daniel is also survived by grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and a community who will hold him in their hearts forever.
The service celebrating Daniel's life will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 2018 at West Side Community Church, with Pastor John Clark officiating. Visitation will begin at the church one hour prior to the service. A luncheon will immediately follow the service.

The family is being cared for and served by the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
