Florence E. "Lynne" Campenhout, 86, of Traverse City, died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017 at Culver Meadows AFC in Traverse City.
She was born Sept. 9, 1931 in Detroit to Florian and Mary Markovich. She married Albert E. Campenhout on Jan. 2, 1960 in Detroit. He preceded her in death in 2006.
She had been a member of the Friendly Garden Club and had enjoyed many years volunteering at the Peninsula Community Library. She had also enjoyed working at Chateau Chantal winery.
She is survived by two daughters, Claire (Greg) Garten, of Brimley, and Mary "Mimi" (Bill) Perez, of Lewiston, Idaho; six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Markovich, of Las Vegas, Nevada.
In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Harry Marx.
No services are planned.
