Franklin H. Rundquist, age 84, of Kingsley, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2017. He was born Sept. 8, 1933 in Detroit to Oxal and Pearl (Booth) Rundquist.
Frank started life on the Rundquist Cherry Farm, and he could never get that farming life out of his blood. Once he was grown he went on to work for Morrison's Cherry Farm, and he worked there for over 25 years.
He was a country boy at heart. Frank loved being outdoors and traveling.
Frank is survived by two nieces, Penny Rundquist, of Kingsley, and Patty Cisneros, of Kewadin; a nephew, Richard Rundquist Jr., of Cadillac; and a nephew-in-law and caretaker, Bert Vaillancourt, of Fife Lake.
Besides his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Rundquist Sr.
According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held Friday, June 9, 2017, at 11:30 a.m., at Yuba Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Covell Funeral Home of Traverse City.
