She was silly, selfless and so brave. She took life by the horns and in true Jocie fashion left this world via rainbow. Jocelyn Lesperance went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, June 24, 2017.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, Ken; her two children, Kevin (Grace) Lesperance and Michele (Charlie) Lindholm; her seven grandchildren; and her sisters, Betty Claire (Charles) Aschauer and Suzanne (Donald) David.
She was native to Bay City, where she was born (1944), and Traverse City, where she taught seventh grade science and raised a family. They retired and spent their winters in Scottsdale, Arizona.
She was so much to so many. In her presence you couldn't help but feel loved and important. She was a gift to all who knew her. She will be missed more than words.
We will gather to celebrate Jocelyn's life with her close family and friends at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, we ask you to consider supporting the Alzheimer's Association.
For it is known that some people come into our lives and upon knowing them we are never the same; we are undoubtedly better and we have certainly been blessed. She was love.
