Judith 'Judy''s Story
Judith "Judy" Ann Williams, age 76, passed away on Sunday, July 30 after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving daughter, Debbie (Don) Cunningham, of Traverse City; brother, Ed (Pat) Fouch, of Indian River; grandchildren, Kenneth Pacholka III, of Oscoda; Shelby Cunningham, of Great Bend, Kansas; Nathan Cunningham, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and great-grandchild, Skyler Pacholka of Oscoda. She was preceded in death by her oldest daughter, Kathy Hofacer, May 14, 2016.
Judy was born Nov. 7, 1940 in Lansing, to Roy and Charlotte Fouch, the oldest of two children.
She spent much of her adult life in Oscoda and Traverse City. In Osocda, she worked for the Gary Oil & Propane family business and in Traverse City she worked for Tom's Market on 14th St. since 2003. Judy loved to work and was doing what she loved, servicing customers, and never let the signs of her cancer stop her from doing what she enjoyed.
Family and friends will be welcomed for a visitation on Wednesday, Aug. 2, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Munson Hospice Care in memory of Judith Williams. Their care and comfort was wonderful in supporting Judy and her family in her final days. Donations can be made at http://www.munsonhomehealth.org/hospice, under the tab Hospice Giving.
