Julie A. Wolfgram, 60, a former Traverse City resident, died Tuesday, August 29th, 2017 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. Born October 16th, 1956, to the late Lavern V. Wolfgram and Isabel E. (Harris) Hall in Traverse City, Julie attended Traverse City Schools and earned an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from Northwestern Michigan College. She moved to Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina in 2006 to be with her daughter and grandchildren. Julie loved her family, friends, and pretty much everyone she met. She loved ALL animals and has been mother to dozens of cats, kittens, and dogs. She rescued many mother cats and found homes for all but one special baby kitten from each litter. Julie had many happy memories at the family farm on Harris Road in Traverse City. She laughed and loved hard; she was patient, giving, and selfless. Julie loved the fresh water lakes and sand dunes of Northern Michigan. She enjoyed collecting antiques, picnicking on the beach, and going to the movies. Julie is survived by her children, Jason (Bridget) Vasquez of Richmond, VA and Jessica (Martin) Kuttner of Holly Springs, NC; sisters, Isabel "Susie" (Jeff) Noyes (Wolfgram), Laura Wolfgram, widow of the late Lavern "Vernie" Wolfgram, and R.X. Wolfgram; brother, Lucas "Luke" (Haley) Wolfgram; grandchildren, Sophia Kuttner, Calvin Kuttner, Ethan Vasquez, Chloe Vasquez, and Katelyn Vasquez. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charles "Charlie" Wolfgram and Lavern "Vernie" Wolfgram. Her sincere faith in God was inspirational; we feel you with us still. Julie, we love you for making the world a better and happier place for all people and animals! The memorial service for Julie will be held at the Long Lake Friends Church in Traverse City, Michigan on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 10:30am.
