He graduated from Benzie Central High School and moved through life as a wonderful, caring person and devoted father. He is also survived by his grandmother, Dolores Fritz; and many adoring aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He also leaves behind his cats and faithful companions, Tigger and Cinnamon.
Oliver was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ogden and Donna Hobson and Frederick Fritz; and his aunt, Kathryn (Fritz) Reicha.
The family wishes to thank the staff and doctors at the Munson Medical Center Intensive Care Unit and the staff at Neuro-Restorative in Traverse City and Northville for their dedication and support. The family extends a special thank you to Oliver's guardians, Arnie and Gail Budin, for their years of loving advocacy and mentoring.
A memorial service for Oliver will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 3, 2017 at Bayview Wesleyan Church. Visitation for friends will be held one hour prior to the service.
