Sarah Elizabeth (Rockafellow) Biskupski, age 31, of Traverse City, passed away on June 6, 2019 at her home while surrounded by her loving family and their dog, Mylie, after a six-year battle with ovarian cancer. She remained a brave woman, extending grace, love and peace even throughout her final months. She was born on Oct. 28, 1987 in Traverse City to Chuck and Brenda (Olmstead) Rockafellow.
Sarah grew up in the Traverse City area, where she graduated from Traverse City Central High School in 2005. Following her graduation Sarah enrolled at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, where she achieved her Master of Architecture degree as well as a minor in business.
It was while Sarah was at college that she met her future husband, Pete. They were married Sept. 4, 2011 in Traverse City.
After college, Sarah remained dedicated to her work at C.C. Power as an accountant.
Sarah was once described as "pure joy with red hair." Sarah and Pete were inseparable and remained very devoted to one another. They enjoyed many travels and riding their bikes to the farmers market on Saturdays during their marriage.
