Sharon Lorraine Gray, 79, of Lake Ann, died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017 at home with her family by her side. She was born July 23, 1938 in Eaton Rapids, the daughter of Ernest and Elsa (Hendershott) White.
Sharon was a whiz with numbers and bookkeeping and worked for Prange's for many years.
The most important thing in Sharon's life was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a wonderful cook and baker and loved to host family celebrations.
Sharon will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and dog grandma.
On Aug. 10, 1957 at the Lake Ann United Methodist Church in Lake Ann, Sharon married Ronald Gray, who survives her. She is also survived by her children, Susan Frost-Mayse, of Lake Ann, Ruth Ann (Wayne) McMillen, of Fullerton, California, and Lisa L. Skiver, of St. Petersburg, Florida; her grandchildren, Ashley (Mark) Frost-Nugent, Meagan (Andrew) McMillen, Julie (Esteban) Camarillo, Kile (Christina) Smith, Jason E. Gray, Courtney (Andrew) Ramsey and Leann (Paul) Skiver; her great-grandchildren, Eli Joshua Nugent, Chet Michael Nugent, Leena Ramsey, Malin Ramsey and Jane Ramsey; a great-grandchild on the way; her siblings, Isabell Anderson and John (Jan) White; and her beloved dogs, Sophie and Millie.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Glenn E. Gray; her grandson, Josh M. Frost; her son-in-law, Michael E. Mayse; her brother and sister-in-law, Ernest and Louise White Jr.; and her brother-in-law, Cecil Anderson.
Private memorial services for family and close friends will be held at a later date.
