Volaney "Bounce" Allen Rossell, 91, of Copemish, died July 17, 2017, at the Maples in Frankfort. He was born in Cadillac July 18, 1925, the son of Henry and Sarah (Dickhout) Rossell.
Bounce retired following a long career with McInerney Spring & Wire. In his spare time Bounce loved playing golf, fishing and hunting. Family get-togethers were a favorite event, and he especially enjoyed traveling to Alaska.
Bounce is survived by his children, Linda (Gary) Collins, of Copemish, Dora (Richard) Scarbrough, of Coopersville, and Henry (Tammy) Rossell, of Onondaga; grandchildren, Bill (Stacy) Collins, Roxanne Collins, Andrew (Michelle) Scarbrough, Janice Scarbrough and Justin, Emma and Elise Rossell; great-grandchildren, Dillon, Ashley and Courtney Collins, Zak Gannon, Brittany Collins, Edward Mysliwiec, Coleman O'Brien, Andrew Scarbrough II, Beau and Leland Scarbrough, Melissa (Brandon) Plumb, Chelsea Skaio, Colton Brower, Erin, Taylor and Ethan Rossell; and great-great-grandson, Shawn Vegter.
Bounce was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Emma; son, Eugene Rossell; and siblings, Orival Rossell, Opal Moore, Bernice Dalton and Henrietta Stevenson.
Memorial services will be conducted at noon Saturday, July 29, at the Terwilliger Funeral Home in Kaleva. Family and friends will be received at 11 a.m. and will continue until the time of services at the funeral home on Saturday. Interment will take place at a later date in the Cleon Township Cemetery.
