Worthy Dart Carstensen, 91, passed away Aug. 25. Worthy was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He later settled in the Beverly Hills, Florida, area.
He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II for seven years.
He is survived by his wife, Pat; one daughter, Sonja (Bobbi), of Boynton Beach, Florida; two grandchildren, James and Trish; and one great-grandchild. Also surviving are two stepdaughters, Maryellen (Terry) Maddasian and Julie Breithaupt; and five step grandchildren, of Traverse City.
Per his wishes, there will be no services. Cremation has taken place and burial will be at the Fountains Memorial Park in Homosassa, Florida, on Monday, Oct. 30.
