Betty J. Fanger, of Traverse City, mother of Kim (Harry) Gough and Kevin (Kimberly) Ayotte, passed away peacefully May 11, 2017. She was born on July 14, 1940 in Saginaw, the daughter of Walter and Beatrice (Keeley) Fanger.
Betty is survived by her children, Kimberly (Harry) Gough and Kevin (Kimberly) Ayotte; grandchildren, Amanda Gough, Melissa (Kyle) Hollinshead and Brandon Ayotte; and siblings, Donald (Betty) Fanger, Geraldine Hoerniein and Doris Schmitzer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Erica Paul; and siblings, Lorraine Weiss and Wilma Fanger.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Traverse City. The family will greet friends starting at 1 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Prince of Peace Ev. Lutheran Church or Munson Hospice House.
