Debra "Debi" Lynn Grostick, 61, of Lansing, died Sunday, April 16, 2017, at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing with her family by her side. She was born January 19, 1956, in Frankfort, the daughter of Duane and Fern (Carrier) Plant.
Debi worked as a Floor Supervisor for CVS Pharmacy in North Carolina and Lansing. In her spare time, she loved spending time with her horses and animals, and she loved to play BINGO. The greatest joy in Debi's life was her family, and she will be remembered as a devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and dear friend.
Debi is survived by her mother, Fern Plant, of Elberta; her granddaughter, Riley Roberts, of North Carolina; her siblings, Lee (Dawn) Plant, of Elberta, Carol (David) Johnson, of Traverse City, Susan Baughman, of Honor, Sherry (Jerome) Snyder, of Traverse City, Diane (Ron) Duford, of Thompsonville and Amy Bowers, of Elberta and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and BINGO buddies.
Debi was preceded in death by her father, Duane Plant; her husband and the love of her life, Herman Grostick III; her daughter, Angela Lynn Frederickson.
A celebration of Debi's life will be held from noon to 4 p.m., Saturday, April 22, 2017, at the Benzie County Fraternal Order of the Eagles #3313 in Frankfort
Interment will take place at 11 a.m., Sunday, April 23, 2017, at the Benzonia Township Cemetery in Benzonia.
The Bennett-Barz Funeral Home, in Beulah, is in charge of arrangements.
