Donald Edward McKee, age 72, died Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Jackson Madison County Hospital in Jackson, TN. He was born July 13, 1944 in Kennett, MO to the parents of William and Nadine Launius McKee.
Don retired in 1991 from the General Motors Truck and Bus Division of Flint, MI. He retired to Kingsley MI where he enjoyed his passions of hunting, fishing, wood working, driving, the Detroit Lions and Tigers, and most importantly, the love he had for his family and his fur babies, Sugar and Snickers.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Vivian Days McKee of Kingsley, MI, one daughter, Deborah (Clinton) Martin of Fife Lake, MI, two sons, Curtis (Mary) McKee of Pahrump, NV, and Donald (Wendy) McKee of Kingsley, MI, two brothers, Dallas (Betty) McKee of Lexington, TN, and James McKee of Flint, MI, five grandchildren, David (Michelle) Martin of Las Vegas, NV, Jacci Martin of Traverse City, MI, Jason (Cassandra) McKee of Kingsley, MI, Clinton (Ginny) Martin of Traverse City, MI and Michelle Jackson of Covington, KY, and eleven Great Grand Children.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Kenneth McKee, and one grandchild, Donald E. McKee II.
A celebration of life service will be held on July 13, 2017 at the Fife Lake American Legion, 10283 M-186, Fife Lake, MI, at 11am.
Mr. McKee was cremated by Arrington Funeral Directors and Crematory of Jackson, TN.
