Jody Lynn Musselman, 45, lifelong resident Kalkaska, passed away suddenly on Feb. 18, 2017 at home. She was born on Jan. 2, 1972 in Traverse City, the daughter of Marsha (Adams) and John Lang.
Jody married Thomas Musselman on May 28, 1994 in Kalkaska.
She worked as a teachers aide in Kalkaska for many years.
Her hobbies included photography, crafts, puzzles, scrap booking and gardening. Her daughters and their activities were her most important priority.
Surviving Jody are her husband, Thomas A. Musselman; daughters, Kaitlyn, Shelby, Korrina and Sydney; her parents, Marsha R. (Douglas Billings) Lang, of Kalkaska, and John R. (Sue) Lang, of Dearborn; her mother-in-law, Carolyn Musselman, of Benzie County; siblings, Angela (Brent) Turner, Dennis (Heather) Lang, Donald Lang, Vincent Cislo, Alan Cislo and Kevin Cislo; brothers and sisters-in-law, Vera Lovett, Allen (Theresa), Charlie (Chris), Tim (Saunice), Rob and Mike (Marsha) Musselman; nephews and nieces, Devon Lang, Bryce Lang, Dustin McCool, Tristan Turner, Liam Turner, Kaylee Lang and Taylor Lang; and her most beloved granddogs, Nina, Bear and Milo.
Visitation will be today, Feb. 22, from noon to 2 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., at Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Matt Moser officiating.
