Paul LeMieux, age 72, passed away unexpectedly June 14, 2017 with his family by his side. Irvin Paul was born in Muskegon on Oct. 25, 1944 to Irvin E. and Therese (Dion) LeMieux.
Paul was a 1962 graduate of Muskegon Catholic Central and then served his country in the United States Air Force.
He worked at Wolverine Express and Bennett Pump in Muskegon and Yellow Freight in Grand Rapids and Overland Park, Kansas, then retired to Traverse City.
Paul was an avid cribbage player and joke teller and loved having a good time.
Paul was preceded in death by his father, Irv on May 20, 1987; daughter, Amy on June 19, 1993; and sister-in-law, Sharron LeMieux on July 25, 2015.
Paul is survived by his mother, Therese; his son, Jon (Leslie); grandchildren, Alicia and Kyle; great-granddaughter, Nyla; his brothers, Eugene (Alice), Joseph (Marcia), Marty and David (Antoinette); sisters, Mary, Martha (Dan) Noble and Rochelle (Steve) Hammontree; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of Paul's life will be held at a later date.
