Pauline P. Moravec, age 88, of Frankfort, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. She was born on Aug. 13, 1928 in Traverse City, daughter of the late Ernest and Opal (Harrell) Weiselberg.
Pauline attended Traverse City High School and graduated with the class of 1946.
Pauline married Alexander Moravec in Detroit on April 11, 1952. He preceded her in death on Nov. 23, 1994.
She worked as a general laborer for 15 years at the Pet Milk Company and retired in 1980.
She enjoyed traveling and reading and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Pauline is survived by her son, Alex (Kathryn) Moravec, of Frankfort; daughter, Phyllis Moravec, of Thompsonville; sister, Frances Wilson, of Grand Prairie, Texas; three grandchildren, Alex Moravec, Steven Fite and Shauna (Chris) Treter; great-granddaughter, Pearl Treter; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alexander; and two brothers, Richard and Carl Weiselberg.
Per Pauline's wishes, cremation has taken place and no service is planned at this time.
