Theo E. Mannor, age 98, of Mesick, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017. She was born May 4, 1919 in Butternut to Wilber and Sadie (Baxter) Young.
Theo married the late Leonard Earl Mannor on June 15, 1944 at St. Mary's of Hannah Catholic Church.
She retired from Wolerts, where she worked for over 25 years. Theo was active in her church, St. Therese, in Lansing and later St. Mary's of Hannah in Kingsley.
She loved to garden and was a member of the Garden Club for a time. Theo loved nothing more than spending time with her family. Whether it was a relaxing fishing trip or cooking for a large crowd, she was happiest when a crowd of family and friends were near.
Theo is survived by her son, Larry (Joan) Mannor, of Lansing; two grandsons, Loren and Landon Mannor; five great-grandchildren, Luke, Zachary, Nicholas Quinn, EmmaJo and Abby Mannor; and many special nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Theo was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; granddaughter, Tina Mannor; and brother, Ormel Young.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m., with a scripture service at 7 p.m., at the Covell Funeral Home in Kingsley. A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior, at St. Mary's of Hannah Catholic Church. Theo will be laid to rest next to her husband at St. Mary's of Hannah Catholic Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Theo's name may be directed to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Covell Funeral Home of Kingsley.
