Wayne J. Kula, 71, a former Kalkaska resident, passed away with his family at his side on Oct. 4, 2016 in Tampa, Florida.
He was born Aug. 18, 1945 to Albert and Faye (Fuester) Kula in Bad Axe. The family later moved to Kalkaska.
On Aug. 18, 1967 he married the love of his life, Beverly Kerbyson, and they resided in Kalkaska until August 2016.
He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Kula; and five children, Connie (Jim) Mullins, of Rapid City, Jennifer Kula, of Florida, Charlene (David) Rose, of Pearisburg, Virginia, Peggy (Roger) Bergy, of Mancelona, and Richard Osborne, of Rapid City, South Dakota. Also surviving are 17 precious grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Kula.
There will be a memorial service June 17, 2017 at the Log Lake Pavilions at 1 p.m., followed by a luncheon.
