Suttons Bay, Michigan - Tuesday evening Albert Arthur Evans, 92, of Suttons Bay passed away peacefully at his home with his family.


Al is survived by his children, Karen (Ken) Bryan, Kent Evans and his brother Harry Evans. September 9, 1933, in Highland Park, Michigan, Al was born to Harry and Ethel (Lewis) Evans. Al grew up in Ferndale, Michigan. In November of 1953, he married Marjorie Annetta Shelton "Annette" who preceded him in death in August 2013. Al and Annetta raised their family in Franklin Village.


Al spent 40 years in Detroit's commercial art and design business working with great talent and developing a "legendary" reputation for his creative drive, hard work, and dedication to perfection.


Al and Annette retired to Suttons Bay where he spent 30 years doing "exactly what he wanted".


A family ceremony will be held in Franklin Village where Al will be buried with Annette.
