Ann Thompson Kimball, formerly of Manistee and Interlochen, passed away on Feb. 11, 2019 of natural causes. She was born on April 26, 1934 to Harry John Thompson and Teckla Larsen Thompson, of Manistee.

Ann was a 1952 graduate of Manistee High School, where she was a flutist in the symphonic and marching bands. After graduation from high school she went to Kalamazoo College to work on her bachelor's degree.

Ann Thompson Kimball is survived by her daughter, Mary Susan Denham and son-in-law, Mark Denham; brother, Harry Jay Thompson; sister-in-law, Irma Thompson; nephew, Alan (Teresa) Thompson; and great-nephews, Matthew and Ethan Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Carl Kimball; son, Charles David Kimball; brother, Dean S. Thompson; sister-in-law, Marilyn Ruth Draper Thompson; her niece, Diane Thompson; her cousin, Endrene Peterson Crampton; and cousin, Jimmy Fild.

Private family graveside services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Manistee.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in Ann's name to a local foundation for the hearing impaired.

The Herbert Funeral Home, of Manistee, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
