Annette Marie Kroupa; Age 63 of Mattawan, passed away on March 20, 2023 with family by her side. She was born October 23, 1959 in Bellaire, Michigan to Charles and Barbara King who both preceded her in death. She graduated from Bellaire High School in 1977. She attended Northwestern Michigan College where she met her husband Ivan. They had 40 wonderful, happy years of marriage together. She was the LOVE of Ivan's life and always will be. She is survived by her husband Ivan, her sister Mary King (Mike), sister- in -law's: Valerie (Gregory) Wilcox and Irene (Bruce)Thomas. Niece's and Nephews: Amanda (Drew) Gonnella, Patrick McGrath, Joyce (Jeff) Hoffman, Tony (Katie) Thomas, Brian (Angel) Wilcox and Shawn (Connie) Wilcox and many cousins. Throughout her career she specialized in Banking, Finance, 401k and Pension Administration. Annette enjoyed gardening, reading, playing the piano, crocheting, and exercising at the gym. She loved the outdoors: hiking, traveling, kayaking on the Manistee River and laughing with her friends and family. She also enjoyed spending time up north...especially the annual summer sister's weekend with Mary. Trips to the wineries on Old Mission Peninsula were also a highlight for her and Ivan. She always looked forward to taking long walks and trips to Meadow Run Dog Park with their beloved dog Nikita. She was her pride and joy. She also loved her cats. Our loving memories we shared will be forever in our hearts. There will be no funeral service. There will be a small graveside interment on Old Mission Peninsula (Traverse City, Michigan) at Peninsula Township Cemetery at a later date.
