Antoinette Joan Frixen, age 89, of Interlochen, passed away peacefully on Friday March 31, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born on July 27, 1933, in Buckley, Michigan, the daughter of Pietro and Juanita (McCleary) Sanuto. Antoinette attended Buckley Schools where she ended up graduating from. After high school, she went on to get her nursing degree.
Antoinette was the executive secretary for Tenneco Corporation in Texas for over 12 years before retiring in 1986.
She was a beloved member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Grawn, Michigan.
There were many things that Antoinette enjoyed in her life such as reading, baking, and flowers. Above all else, she loved having her family near and with her. They were the most important thing in her life.
Antoinette is survived by her sister, Jean Brakel; her children, Barb (Paul) Lenz, Mark Lewis, Joyce Parnell, Joni Pearson, Pete (Trish) Lewis, Dan (Loretta) Lewis, and John (Paula) Lewis; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
A private family graveside service was held.
