Honor, Michigan - Bonnie Jean (Sieffert) Harris, 82, passed away on July 23, 2026, at home surrounded by her family & loved ones. She was born March 31, 1944, to Clifford & Claris Sieffert in Traverse City, Michigan. Growing up on Duck Lake, she loved to paddle out in canoe & especially loved to take her little brother, Gerry, fishing for brook trout. She sang both in high school and church choir. She loved to go to the Friday night dances which was where she met the love of her life, Nick Harris.
Bonnie was preceded in death by: brother, Gerald; husband, Nick; and second born son, Trace. She is survived by: her sisters, Cathy and Patty; and two sons, Tony & Jerry; along with many grandkids and nephews & nieces who loved her very much.
Memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the Bennett-Barz Funeral Home, in Beulah, with a luncheon to follow at the Interlochen Eagles. The family will receive friends from 10 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
