Kewadin, Michigan - Debra Anderson, 62, passed away on June 22, 2026, following a quick illness.

Deb was born on February 27, 1964, to Chester and Jane Gatzke in Maple City, MI. She was a warm and vibrant person whose smile could brighten any room. Known for her bubbly personality and playful spirit, Deb loved pulling pranks on the people she cared about most, always bringing laughter and joy to those around her.

She was the proud mother of two children, Brandon and Breanna. Later in life, Deb found her soulmate in Gary Anderson. He was the love of her life. Together they shared 11 wonderful years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Some of their favorite memories were made exploring the beauty of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Deb enjoyed playing cards, quarters, Yahtzee and other games.

Her eye for decorating and attention to detail made every space she touched feel comfortable and inviting. Deb enjoyed searching resale and thrift shops and took great pride in creating a warm, welcoming home. She loved shopping for hidden treasures. More than anything, she cherished her beloved grandchildren, Brody, Kinsey, Remi, Maverick, Candace, Nolan and Areya.

Deb was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Jane Gatzke; sister Nancy; and brothers Wayne, Stevie and Gary.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Gary Anderson; her children, Brandon (Emmie), Breanna (Kenneth); her bonus boys, Thomas (Bekka) and Scott; her sisters, Sandra (Bill) and Sue (Ross); her many grandchildren; and numerous extended family members and friends who will miss her deeply.

A private family celebration of Deb's life will take place at a later date.
