Donald Densteadt Rennie, Jr. of Cadillac passed away, Saturday, September 21, 2024 at home surrounded by his family. He was 92.

Mr. Rennie was born September 24, 1931 in Traverse City, Michigan to Donald L. and Celia F. (Densteadt) Rennie, Sr.

Don earned his Associate's Degree from Michigan State University. He was a proud veteran; serving honorably in the Unites States Marine Corp during the Korean War. Don had been employed at the City of Cadillac as the Utilities Manager for over 30 years retiring in 1993.

On August 29, 1953 in Traverse City he married Marie Elizabeth Sollie and she survives him along with their children: Robert (Brenda) Rennie of Wilmot, South Dakota, Eric (Sylvia) Rennie of Petoskey, Suzanne (Jack) Simcock of Cadillac and Sally (Chris) Holmgren of Middleville; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and a brother, Bill Rennie of Traverse City.

Don was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Ashburn.

Funeral services will be held 12 Noon, Friday, September 27, 2024 at Peterson Funeral and Cremation Services in Cadillac. Visitation will be Friday from 11 am until services at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
