Honor, Michigan - Donita Sue Andrews, 91, of Honor, died Thursday, September 11, 2025, with her family by her side. She was born November 16, 1933, in Honor, the daughter of Laverne and Norma (Stafford) Acha.

Donita was a secretary at Benzie Schools. After her retirement, she went to work at the Cherry Hut Restaurant, in Beulah, from 2008-2024. She and her husband, Don, spent winters in Florida, and took many family trips to Disney World. The most important thing in Donita's life was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; they were the light of her life.

Donita is survived by: her children, Nancy (Scott) Fleetwood of Beulah, Dennis Andrews of Merritt Island, Florida, Jeffrey (Impe) Andrews of Lenox Township, and Jerry (Cheryl) Andrews of Benzonia; daughter-in-law, Chris Andrews of Elberta; 10 grandchildren, Ryan (Amy) Fleetwood of Beulah, Kassidy (Travis) Fleis of Beulah, Becky (Marcus) Kent of Merritt Island, Florida, DJ (Maci) Andrews of Merritt Island, Florida, Donald Andrews of Merritt Island Florida, Jennifer (Mike) Curtis of St. Petersburg, Florida, Kayla (Alex) Ellis of Key West, Florida, Lexi (Kyle) Hospenthal of Frankfort, Marshall (Holly) Sauer of Port St. Lucie, Florida, and Nikki Andrews of Jacksonville, Florida; 20 great-grandchildren, Brady Fleetwood, Taylor Dyer, Henry Fleis, Rylee Fleis, Jon Michael Dickinson, Gracie Andrews, Laila Jenkins, Tati Jenkins, DJ Andrews Jr., Sunshine Andrews, Donald Andrews Jr., Roman Andrews, Volcan Andrews, Marley, Curtis, Maddie Curtis, Fallynn Ellis, Brody Morris, Boone Hospenthal, Emmett Hospenthal, and Mally Sauer; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

On October 10, 1953, in Traverse City, Donita married Donald Wilson Andrews who has always been the love of her life. Donald preceded her in death on November 28, 2007. She was also preceded in death by: her parents; her son, Danny Andrews; daughter-in-law, Robin Andrews; brothers, Pete, Keith, Harold, and Leslie Acha; and sisters, Raydella Wheeler, Nelda Burrows, Mildred Heilmann, and Lorita "Toots" Rayle.

In keeping with Donita's wishes, there will be no service held.
