Traverse City, Michigan - Florence Mae Rademaker, 92, of Traverse City passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at Meadow Valley Memory Care.
Florence was born on September 20, 1932 in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Cornelius and Florence (Zylema) Korhorn. She married Richard Adrian Rademaker on September 24, 1954, also in Grand Rapids.
Florence spent most of her time as a homemaker. She worked part time for the Traverse City Area Public Schools in the lunchroom and playgrounds. In her spare time, Florence enjoyed watching all sports, especially U of M football games and spending time with her family.
Florence was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Richard A Rademaker, and all siblings, Connie, Mildred, Bertha, Gertrude, Mae, Marjorie, Dorthy, Millie, Helen, Cornelius, and John.
Surviving are her Children: Judy Norris, Donald (Lori) Rademaker, Michael (Debra) Rademaker and Steven (Laura) Rademaker. Grandchildren: William (Samantha Hall) Norris, Robert Norris, Sarah (Steve) Synko, Megan (Daniel) Rhodes, Nicholas and (Courtney) Rademaker, and Scott (Heidi) Rademaker. Great Grandchildren: Alexander Hansen, Harper Norris and Dillon Mayo, Ethan, Ella and Eli Wilson, Jaxon and Makenzie Rademaker, Elivia and Carleigh Norris. Ava and Grant Synko. Plus many, many nieces and nephews.
