James A. Kowal Obituary
James A. Kowal, 71, of Bellaire, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025 after a brief illness.
He was the owner of Echo Quality Grinding in Central Lake for 47 years.
Jim was married to his wife Barb who survives. He is also survived by his daughter Arielle Kowal (Zak Scott), step sons Rob (Amy) Case, Corey (Tina) Case, 10 grandchildren; Kaylyn, Draven, Zavian, Roman, Lincoln, and Evelyn Scott, Abby, Kennedy, Ty, and Keegan Case. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews who will miss his kind heart and laughter.
Jim was a man of great faith. He was a devoted member of St. Luke's Catholic Church in Bellaire, Michigan and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
A private service will take place. A memorial Mass will take place on July 5, 2025 at 11 am at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Bellaire, MI with a Rosary at 10:30 am.
