Beulah, Mi - Jerry Gordon Salenski, of Beulah, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2026.

Jerry will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of ten years, Cheri, who shared in his many adventures and love of the outdoors. He is also survived by his daughters, Summer (Mark) Cochrane and Kelly (Sammy) Shahauri, and by his beloved grandchildren, Clovis and Isabella, who brought him great pride and joy.

He is further survived by his brothers, Steve (Karen) and Bob, along with several nieces and nephews. Jerry also held a special bond with his close friends and lifelong snowmobiling companions, Steven and Rocky Fouch, with whom he shared countless memories and traditions.

Jerry had a true passion for the outdoors. Growing up, he developed a lifelong love for hunting and fishing, finding peace and happiness in nature. However, his greatest enthusiasm was reserved for snowmobiling. Each year, he looked forward to attending the annual snowmobile races in St. Ignace alongside Steve and Rocky — a tradition filled with laughter, camaraderie, and the thrill of the ride.

A hardworking and dependable man, Jerry retired from Sara Lee Foods, where he worked in maintenance. He was respected by coworkers for his strong work ethic, friendly personality, and willingness to lend a hand whenever needed.

Jerry also enjoyed traveling and exploring new places. He treasured memories of a trip to Rome, winters spent as a snowbird in Florida, and camping adventures in Alabama. Whether near or far from home, he was happiest when surrounded by nature and the people he loved.

At home, Jerry found comfort in the companionship of his faithful dog, Roxy, who was always by his side.

Jerry will be remembered for his quiet strength, kind heart, love of adventure, and deep appreciation for the simple joys of life. His presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him.
