Traverse City, Michigan - Julia "Julie" Williams, of Traverse City, passed away on June 1, 2025, at the Grand Traverse Pavilions. Julie was born May 23, 1943, to John and Virginia Winowiecki.
She graduated from St. Francis High School. Julie was always a hard worker, even in her free time she enjoyed gardening, mowing the lawn, and shoveling the snow. Some of her favorite things were feeding and watching birds, going on drives, cooking from scratch, playing Yahtzee and handheld poker, and word searches. She enjoyed the simple things in life.
Julie will be greatly missed and is survived by her children, Dawn (Daniel) Plamondon, Roy (Bonnie) Williams and Jim (Jill) Williams. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Louise (Chuck) Devaux, Irene (Clarence) Stachnik, Marilyn (Richard) Lane, Janet (Emmet) Fouts, and Rita (John) Chouinard.
Julie was preceded in death by her parents, John & Virginia Winowiecki; her infant daughter, Donna; her three brothers, Marvin (Sonny), Irwin, and Raymond; and her sister, Beverly (Albert) Labonte.
Per her wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no services held.
