Clare, Michigan - Kathleen Marie Cannon-Scott, 58, of Clare, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025. Kathy was born on April 6, 1967, in Riverview, Michigan, to Edward William and Elizabeth Ann Cannon.
Kathy married Brent Scott, and together they made their home on Crooked Lake in Clare County. They shared a love of nature and the joy of raising their two beloved dogs, Gizmo and Toke. Kathy was an active member of the VFW and proudly participated in local events alongside her husband. She is also survived by nephews Blake (Theresa) Cannon and Andrew Cannon. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Edward William and Elizabeth Ann Cannon, and nephew Patrick Cannon. Kathy is also remembered by her step-grandmother, Kathleen "Nancy" Ann Blair (Rick), along with many extended family members and dear friends.
Please join us in celebrating Kathy's life. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 1-3 pm at Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Traverse City at a later date, followed by a celebration of life. Pastor Doyle Berg Jr. will officiate.
