True to his persistent and stubborn spirit, Larry George Niemi Sr., age 79, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sept. 29, 2021. Surviving Widowmaker heart attacks and triple bypass surgery, Larry was not one to let his health or body slow him down, and he remained steadfast in that resolve until his last moment.
Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021, at the Terwilliger Funeral Home, in Kaleva, with Reverend Zachary Nelson officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021, at the funeral home and on Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021, from 12:30 p.m. until time of service.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Diabetes Association or the Salvation Army.
