Laurelie J. Yeomans Obituary

Laurelie J. Yeomans, of Cadillac, passed away early Monday morning, Dec. 11, 2017 at Boardman Lake Glens in Traverse City. She was 90.

She graduated from St. Francis High School in Traverse City in 1945. On Oct. 15, 1955 in Traverse City, she married Gordon W. Yeomans; he preceded her in death on May 8, 1978.

Survivors include her daughters, Jan (Robert) Kellogg, of Cadillac, Karen (Michael) Dontje, of Williamsburg, Cynthia Jagielski, of Cadillac, Mary Yeomans and John Thurston, of Brighton; grandchildren, Katie, Ryan and Christopher Kellogg, Nick Dontje, Kelly (Sal) Grassi and Jacob Jagielski; and a great-grandchild to be born in April.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 15, 2017 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Cadillac, with the Reverend Fr. Michael Janowski serving as celebrant. Burial will be at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Cadillac. Friends may meet the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Peterson Funeral & Cremation Services in Cadillac, where the rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m., and Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Munson Hospice, St. Ann School or to American Heart Association.
