Linda Kay Davis, 62, of Frankfort, formerly of Bear Lake, died Friday, April 6, 2018, at The Maples in Frankfort. She was born June 14, 1955, in Alma, the daughter of Robert and Ilah (Wierman) Davis.
Linda attended school in Breckenridge until her senior year when she moved with her family to Marilla. She graduated from Brethren High School in 1974 and received a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Central Michigan University in 1977. Linda worked as a night auditor at Crystal Mountain Resort, in Thompsonville, for over 20 years.
Linda was baptized at the Ashley United Methodist Church in 1960 and was a member of the Bear Lake United Methodist Church. Linda had a strong faith that sustained her all of her life. She shared that faith and lived that faith.
Linda loved people and she cherished her family. She was especially close to her nieces and nephews; often sharing with them stories of her childhood with their grandparents, great-grandparents, and her siblings.
Linda said she would like to be remembered for something great: an inventor, a discoverer of a cure for a disease, a writer; but she never got to do these things. But Linda will be remembered as a special sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, and friend.
Rest in peace and comfort, dear Linda.
