Marty Beaudoin Obituary
Traverse City, Michigan - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Marty Beaudoin, 66, of Traverse City. A beloved husband, father, brother and friend, he died peacefully at home on 6/25/25 with loved ones by his side.
Marty grew up in Berkley, MI and moved to Traverse City in the 70's. He began his career in graphic design and evolved into a partnership position at Alfie Embroidery as VP of Sales, where he excelled for 25 years.
As a talented musician, he played drums in multiple bands over the years. You may have heard him play on the patio at the Holiday Inn on a Friday night with Luther Gravy and the Soul Biscuits. He had a lifelong passion for music, art, literature and of course golf. An avid golfer, he rarely missed a chance to spend a day on the course with his golf buddies.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Powell and children Sawyer Beaudoin, Zoey Beaudoin, Nicholas (Bianca) Powell, brother Daniel Beaudoin, sister Cindy (Bill) Edmonson and countless friends.
Marty will always be remembered for his genuine spirit, intelligent and artistic nature and irrepressible sense of humor.
Per Marty's request, no public funeral service will be held however, if you would like to make a contribution in Marty's honor, please consider a donation to Interlochen Public Radio or WNMC
