Kingsley, Michigan - Mary Ella Walker, 91 formerly of Kingsley, MI passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Munson Medical Center.

She was born on July 2, 1934 in Flint the daughter of the late Wathan & Norma (Schultz) Hays. She attended Baker Business University receiving a 2 year degree in Secretarial Business. On August 2, 1952 she married Keith W. Walker in Flint. He preceded her in death on March 4, 2008.

Mary was employed as a bank teller at Old Kent Bank in Kingsley for 14 ½ years, retiring on February 1, 1991. She was a member of Saint Johannes Lutheran Church. Mary enjoyed camping, reading, shopping, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include one daughter; Sally Stowe of Nessen City, two sons; Keith (Pat) Walker of Traverse City and William (Sue) Walker of Kingsley, her sister; Marva Aris of Flint, her brother; Joe Mark of Flint, as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter; Patricia Walker, one son; Ben Walker, and four brothers; Dick, Bob, & Don Hayes and Al Mark.
