Michael H. Emaus Obituary
Michael H. Emaus, aged 78, of Interlochen, formerly of Cutlerville, passed away while swimming at home on Green Lake.
His wife, Barbara; sister-in-law, Sandra Zakem; preceded him in death.
Michael proudly served in the US Army. He was a very active person who enjoyed hunting, boating, fishing and biking.
He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Michelle (Mimi) Emaus and Christopher Berends; son, Michael A. Emaus; granddaughters, Paige Berends, Brynn Cody, Colbie Berends; sister, Janyce (George) Doornbos; many nieces and nephews; and his dog, Lizzie.
The family will greet visitors on Friday, July 17, 2020 from Noon to 2 p.m. at the Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th Street, SE; where the Kent County Veterans Honor Guard will hold a military honors service at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Rosedale Memorial Park.
