Sorry to read of the passing of Mike. He and I hung out together in high school especially on Friday nights when I would stay in TC and wait for my parents to come in from Interlochen to do the weekly shopping. Mike and I would wander around his neighborhood, Barney Road and the State Hospital Grounds while working my way to the Tom's Food Market on 14th Street where my parents would pick me up.

I remember one time when as an adult I was shopping at the Meijers store in TC and this guy came up from behind me and asked me not to touch the merchandise. Of course it was Mike undercover working on catching shoplifters. He had quite a sense of humor. He will surely be missed.

Dear Sandy
We both have so many fond memories of Mike. Having worked most of our careers with him. His kind, compassionate and light hearted personality made the toughest days bearable. He was dedicated, hard working and could always be relied upon. He deserved a long life. Only Hod knows our plan in life, we were blessed to spend so many years with Mike. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of the family.

Sandy, I am so sorry to hear that Mike has passed. Please know that you are in my thoughts. You both were a perfect match. Mike was such a warm and kind man, very easy going and took the time to talk. Take care and if you come to Traverse give me a call. Love Mary.
