Traverse City, Michigan - Myrna Jean (Medlin) Fite gained immortality with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. She was born July 14, 1939, in Lamar, MO to True and Okla (Smith) Medlin. She was married to Ronald Fred Fite on November 22, 1957 in Lamar, MO.
Myrna was a member of Living Hope Church, Traverse City. She was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family. Spending time with her children and grandchildren was one of her greatest joys.
Myrna is survived by daughter Rhonda (Dan) White and son, Martin Fite, and seven grandchildren: Justin (Kelli) White, Connor White, Kelsey (Scott) Cohen, Michael Fite, Kyle Fite, Amber (Adam Cornell) Winowiecki, Courtney Winowiecki, and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ronald Fite, a brother, True Medlin Jr., and three sisters, Betty Medlin, Alberta Johnston, and Rosetta Anderegg.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 from 11 am-1 pm at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home. A Funeral Procession to the graveside service will immediately follow at the Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
