Nathan David Scott
Nathan David Scott, 39, of Traverse City, passed away March 14, 2020, while recovering from an automobile accident.
Nathan was born May 7, 1980, to David Scott and Ella (Johnson) Orton in Owosso.
Nathan was a huge fan of U of M, hockey, music and concerts. Some of the concerts he attended just to name a few were: Ozzy, Rush, Dreamtheater, Iron Maiden and Kiss.
He loved to cook and it was often noted that not only did he have enough for the family, but he could also feed a small village. He was one of the most caring people and would always put others before himself.
Nathan is survived and missed dearly by his wife, Melissa; his children, Molly and Zakkary (who was named after Zakk Wild, Nate's favorite guitar player); his parents, David and Ella; and his sisters, Heidi and Bailey.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lillian M. Scott; his grandmother, Mildred E. Scott; and his grandfather, Carroll R. Johnson.
The family will be privately gathering at a later date to celebrate Nathan's life. He will be laid to rest at Inland Township Cemetery next to his daughter, Lilly.
The family is being cared for by the Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
