Paul Hamilton Riley, Jr., age 63, of Lapeer, formerly of Traverse City, died Monday, May 25, 2020.

He was born December 16, 1956 in Marlette to Paul and Kathleen (Klinesmith) Riley, Sr.

Paul, Jr., "Skip", graduated from Lapeer High School, class of 1975. He started in the same plumbing career path of his dad. Skip was a master plumber and owned Riley Plumbing, Heating and Cooling in Traverse City, for many years.

He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Skip was super creative on the pottery wheel; making pots and cups. He had tons of friends and loved his dog, Bee.

Mr. Riley is survived by his children, Nicolas Riley, of Maui, Hawaii and Katherine Neer, of Traverse City; mother, Kathleen Riley, of Lapeer; grandchildren, Corwin, Octavia and Callan; siblings, Pamela (Richard) DeZelia, of Lapeer, Timothy Riley, of Burton, Cynthia DeZelia, of Lapeer, David Riley, of Whitmore Lake, Patricia (David) Ridings, of Brown City, Stephen (Shelly) Riley, of Cape Coral, Florida and Janice (Oliver) Hayes, of Punta Gorda, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his son, Kristopher; as well as his father, Paul, Sr., who passed on Jan. 19, 2020.

No formal funeral service will take place.
