Frankfort, Michigan - Phyllis Ann Heniser, 90, passed away on June 1, 2026, in Frankfort, Michigan. She was born on September 10, 1935, in Honor, Michigan, to Wayne and Alada (Friday) Ingleston.

Phyllis graduated from Honor High School in 1954. She married Eugene Heniser on September 11, 1954. She was a homemaker, a school food service worker, and a noodle business owner. She was a great seamstress, knitter, and crocheter.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; and four of her brothers, Frank, Wayne, Ralph and Steven Ingleston. She is survived by: her husband, Eugene; one brother, Howard (Judy) Ingleston; her children, Greg Heniser, Stacy Heniser (David Erigero) and Paige Prieskorn (Daniel); and grandchildren, Emily Ives, Jessica Blake (Nicholas) Nathan Prieskorn (Emilee), Theron Heniser, and Wesley Heniser.

Phyllis and Gene were also guardian/parents to three young extended family members: Joseph (Dee), Douglas (Brenda) and James Covey. The three boys lived with the family during their teen years making a family of five into a family of eight.

Per Phyllis' request there will be no funeral or memorial service.

The Bennett-Barz Funeral Home, in Beulah, is in charge of arrangements.
