Phyllis Ann Stites Obituary
Phyllis Ann Stites, 91, of Williamsburg passed away peacefully at home on April 11, 2024.
She was a homemaker who loved to bake, read, garden and spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was born August 14, 1932 in Elkhart, Indiana, to Walter and Agnes (Watson) Steffen. She graduated high school in 1950 and worked for John Bean in Lansing, Michigan. On January 23, 1954 she married Louis Stites and lived in Florida, Indiana, and Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her husband Louis Stites in 2015, three sisters, one brother and three stepbrothers.
Surviving are five children, Duane Stites of Elk Rapids, Sandra Moravec of Kiva, Roger Stites of Williamsburg, Jamie (Scott) Evans of Marshall, and Brenda Stites of Williamsburg; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
There will be a private memorial service at a later date.
