Robert L. Bryck, of Cadillac, formerly of Traverse City, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017 at his home. He was 61. Robert was born Feb. 6, 1956 in Traverse City to Louis and Laverne (Junek) Bryck.

Robert worked at Grandview Tool and Die with his father and later owned the business until selling in 2016.

He had an immense love of music that he passed on to his children. He was a huge Detroit Lions fan. Robert enjoyed fishing, golfing and was an animal lover.

He is survived by his two daughters, Melody (Michael) Post and Kerry (Wayne) Carnes, all of Traverse City, and their mother, Sandra Johnsman, of Ohio; grandchildren, Arek Hawkins, Tyler Post, Jacob Post, Bryan Carnes (fiancee, Nina), Dominik Carnes and Mitchell Carnes; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Tom (Rose) Bryck, of California, and Tracy (Chuck) Johnson, of Traverse City; and a niece, Kristin Bryck, of California.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dave Bryck.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
