Traverse City, Michigan - Our beloved father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend, Robert (Bob) Eager, Jr. was called home by the Lord on August 19, 2025. Although Bob battled MS for a great many years, he always tried to be kind and upbeat despite the pain he endured. Soft spoken, gentle natured, and compassionate, Bob is dearly loved and will be missed immensely.

Born on November 5, 1957 in Bay City, Michigan to Robert Eager, Sr. and Edna (Miner) Eager who later divorced. Both Robert, Sr. and Edna remarried and began other families, creating a large twisting tangled family tree with many offshoots. Bob loved getting visits from family and extended family.

Bob is survived by his sons, Justin Eager, Donald Eager, and Brent Diehl; his sisters, Michelle Holbrook, and Nikki Colwill; many half siblings and others of the family tree.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Eager, Sr.; his mother Edna (Miner) Eager; and others of his extended family tree.

Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of such a wonderful man, but we rejoice in knowing he is united once again with those who have gone on before him.

There will be no funeral services. Bob will be laid to rest next to his mother at the Evergreen Cemetery in Springville, Utah.
